Hi, I have a user whose sent items folder has apparently emptied itself, also any new mail she sends is not saved in the folder. I've checked the option to save sent messages is on, and looked at her mailbox on the server, everything seems normal. Auto archive has not kicked in either. doeas...

I've had this problem a couple of times, for me all it was, was a loose IDE cable, try checking the drive cables and power cables are all secure. If not, try another video card in the PC.

Cheers mate, I wasn't the one who upgraded IE so I doubt they did a custom install, I'll give that a go now.

If I were you, I'd stop the problem at the source, try finding out who is attempting to discover the admin password.

one odd thing here. The server is running IE5, which should replace ATSVC.exe with MSTASK.exe, this is not the case, there's no trace of mstask, and atsvc is still rearing it's head. Any thoughts?

I have NT4 server with SP6 installed. Ive read many posts in these forums saying that task scheduler is included with SP6, however I do not have it. Is it actually only supplied with 6a?

How can I tell which service pack I have installed on one of my NT4 servers?

Does anyone know of any software to help u schedule a task or setup a new service in an NT4 server environment, or does anyone know an easy way of doing it. I just want to run a .exe every morning. Thanks for any help.
