Unfortunately NO. Not without losing the header information on the tape. This would also remove the protective data such as retention period etc. If the tape is going offsite, which it should if possible. You could lable the external label with the pertinent information.
NBU uses the EBU in conjunction with the ORACLE extension. The agent comes with a detailed .pdf that will take you step-by-step through the installation process. Without the ORACLE extension, you're pretty much on your own.
