    Strange, This works fine if a choose the specify my own report location and name and enter for example test1.doc and use Word as Format. Must be a problem with the .%EXT% from the server to the client. Thanks for your help!

    Yes I am using the %FileName%.%EXT% variable commands. This still creates a .tmp file instead of a .doc file or .pdf for word / Acrobat exports respectively. Have you got this working correctly then?
