I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you can not search this web forum. I did a search on here, but couldn't come up with anything because I didn't know how to ask what I needed to know. I did a search for "highlight every other horizontal row" in several different combinations with and...
I finally found it via google.com. It was hard to ask for what I wanted, I didn't know the correct terminology. I did a search here but nothing produced. I mainly use Excel to process CVS files. :)
You can use Excel's conditional formatting feature to highlight every other row in a...
I currently use cleanmgr with the sageset switch to do some disk cleanup. The temp directory I listed above does not get deleted with cleanmgr. Space isn't an issue, I guess its more of personal preference. I just like to keep things clean. :)
I may need to just test it out on a few programs.
I'm considering setting up workstations to process a bat file that deletes temp files on shutdown using script policies. The only problem I can forsee is deleting temp files from a program that you are installing. I would like to delete the directory "%userprofile%\local settings\temp". If...
Perfect Wooglin! It's a bit more then what I need but the price is right and it sounds like its very durable. It will look really cool also. :)
Thanks for the find!
I'm working on a project which a macro needs to be tied to a single button. I would like something I can mount on a wall or desk. The macro restarts a PC and runs a series of commands. Does anyone know of such a product? I currently have the macro tied to the F1 key on a keboard, I would...
I'm actually in the processing of testing Symantecs Web Security addition to thier Corporate production, Ver. 9.0. I hope it works out, since we already have a license for the AV server, desktop and exchange .. this is just iceing on the cake. But, Symantec rarely gets things done correctly...
I'm interested in seeing what others use to help curb all the malware they recieve. I currently admin 6 different networks, two of them have 30+ PC's. The others are much smaller. My two bigger networks I use a Sonicwall appliance and block all ActiveX, Java and cookies to every website. I...
Has anyone had any expierence with this? I've found a good reource with some programs to start testing, but theres quite a few programs. :) I was hoping some of you might of had experience with some of them. I'm looking at most of the programs listed under the "Other Solutions" on the link...
I was going to ask this exact same question. My biggest hangup is most PC's have different chipsets. I've found many responses like yours Wolluf, doing a repair install after installing the image usually fixes this problem. How stable is this compared to a clean install?
Thanks Skiflyer, thats exactly what I was looking for. I looked so hard that it was to obvious, right in front of me. I knew there had to be _something_.
I'm thinking I'm not the only one with this problem. I have alot of clients that I've been upgrading to LCD displays. But, most people can't read the default resolution that a 17" LCD is designed for. So they run it in 800x600. It looks horrible but the main reason we usually get LCD's is...
Thank you very very much. I came back thinking I might need to add more info to my post, since I seem to never include enough info when posting. It's been hard searching google on this topic since I get tons of results in configuring GP within an AD.
Your two posts hit right on, thanks again.
I have 4 public PC's that I'm testing GP with. I would like to setup one template then use it on all four PC's. These PC are not part of a directory. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks!
Yes, thats what it does when you hold CTRL and drag them. I was hoping there was a function that would just put them in order and I could modify the text labels later.
I'm working on adding text forms to a PDF document. I need to add quite a few, as this document is a purchase order with many lines. Is there any way to do this quickly or maybe create one form and "stamp" it in the other spots I need them?
I'm using Acrobat 6.0 Pro.
Thanks!
Right you are. :)
Most clients have Windows XP, a few are still runing Windows 2k. Outlook versions are all currently 2k. None of the PC's have a modem, I would like to use the modem on the Exchange server to send faxes.
GFI's product, FAX Maker, does everything. I would like a product...
I would like the ability to fax from Outlook. I realize there are many products out there, but most are a complete solution. Has anyone had experience with something simple, one that just allows end-users to fax? I don't need any receiving capabilities, only sending.
Thanks for any info.
