You can force a site into LSP mode by disabling the network-region it is associated with. Once it is in LSP mode you can enable the registration if you wish or you can wait until you are ready to perform the reset sys 4 on the 8300 and then enable reg reg x where x = net region.

Yeah..I setup two of the 0XXX extensions for testing , 1 was a DID station and the other was a VDN that pointed to an internal station.
Is the dialplan the only place I need to touch to allow the extensions??
Just turned up a new ISDN PRI with some DID's that start with zero. I have opened the dialplan so zero is a 1 digit extension and also 4 digit extensions. What else do I need to change? The telco is telling me my PBX is rejecting the calls??
when I go to use Native Config Manager , it tries to load 10.x.x.x : 5022 , having trouble figuring out how to use 5023.

In short...Its awesome....they can prvide you a trial period if you want , we used the trial period up and we just purchased 2 licenses. I think its about 2-3K per license , but man does it make it easy if you dont know XML

we recently converted all of our agent ids to 5 digit beginning with zero , then NICE comes alongand tells us they cant record/monitor...
Anyone know a way that the cti server can strip the leading 0 off the agent id field in the cti stream. I have a NICE setup using single step conferencing and the DS-1 configured as an E-1 , and NICE tells me they cant record agents that begin with zero??

Anyone know a work arounf , apparently NICE is not able to record agents whose login IDs start in zero. We just finished swapping our IDs to 5 digit begining with zero.

Its been awhile since I have worked with the Octel and I need to shut down and reboot this weekend. Once you shut down with dump and you are bringing the system back up, what are the steps. The manual is very vague, and if I remember correctly you had to pick from : ^B , ^DB and ^DD.
