and when im on the 98 i can \\xavier and get to the xp and browse and i can browse it self perfectly but i cant from XP so it must be with something with XP

when i go to ru and type \\xavier im able to connect to it on my xp but when i try \\magda the 98pc i cant it says network path not found.

Ok, I tried that and i am still unable to gt connected to the 98 or the Xp through 98 i did everything step by step ewven made the user account on XP the same as of 98 im boggled what could be wrong.

whats NTFS? and my 98 can ping the XP and itself but XP cant ping 98 but it can ping itsself

I did name them the ame i named both of them workgroup, and one computer has windows XP and the other has Window 98 both of them are named WORKGROUP and im not able to file share. I got file sharing enabled im able to get on the internet but im not able to file share, please help.
