Once you find that you do have the EPS export filter installed, just select the items you want to export, then choose File/Export. In your Export window, choose EPS from your FILES OF TYPE.

If you're not on XP, then open with PhotoPaint, rotate and save. If the file was a JPEG originially, it will save again as a JPEG. However, it will ask you want compression you want. I tend to use between 10-15 for compression, but you can see the effects of your compression.

Are you IMPORTING into Corel, or simply trying to double-click on them?
Try IMPORTING your piece of clipart (File/Import) and see if that works for you.
To repeat what was said above, use RGB for screen, web, PowerPoint, etc. Use CMYK when going to print. Use Pantone if your print budget can afford such a printer.

Just an update on my success. I purchased v9 on eBay and have installed it on my laptop running WinXP. It runs like a champ and have zero issues. I also do not run it in compatability mode.
