Did you tweak your videocard, it sure sounds like a overclocked gpu, only thing you can do is go back to the store , and get a new one.
I hope you didn't tweak it, otherwise you can say "bye, bye" to your waranty.
If you got a intel mobo, go to the intelsite and download the inf drivers. If you got a Via chipset, what I think, then you must download the via drivers.
When the windows installer start it says press F6 to install drivers, I hope there is a floppy with drivers delivered with your mobo, then load the drivers from that floppy and everything will be fine, windows XP doesn't got drivers for SATA, because SATA wasn't ready when Winxp was released.
We have 30 workstations running and 8 servers, all users got administrator rights on the workstations, and no rights on any server. It works like a charm, you only need to add domain users to the administrator group on the workststation you want them to have access to.

sisAGP would surely have something to do with your videocard, only vidcards are agp.
I think the best thing to try are the new NVidia drivers from their site www.nvidia.com.
