    Make sure the shortcut is pointing to the CMD command interperter and not COMMAND command interperter. I don't know if this will help or not but CMD was made to run under windows, COMMAND was not.

    If it's a new system I would consider Ethernet. Unless your connecting legacy equipment. The three databuses you list have been around for a long time but have limited number of devices that can be connected.
