This is not a reply to my earlier question. But it is related to filesystem . I found following statistics lscfg hisk0 9100 lspv hisk0 8672 Now what happened to 9100-8672=428 MB space. I can not use it. Is there any other way I can utilize this amount of space.

There are many /tmp directories in different file systems.Can I delete the files from those directories.

i think other than smit.log and smit.script files there are other files which can be deleted. But I do not know exactly ..

In fact I would like to use the PCs hard disk space,because i have short of space in my RS machine .I am using oracle database and would like to keep dbf files in the pcs hardisk. But the pcs harddisk would act like as it is the space of the RS machine
