Thanx Missinglinq, but it doesn't quite work. If you have say 3.5 lines in a label box, selecting Distribute will justify all lines including the fourth half line which will become stretched out of proportion.
Is it possible to justify the text within an Access 2000 label? It seems I can left, right and center the text - but not justify.
Appreciate any help.

Thanks folks,
My BIOS was updated.
I did replace the cable but it didn't seem to make any difference.
Phoned Maxtor but they could offer nothing more than a possible cable problem. (But I have heard that it could be a HDD controller problem.)
Anyway I'll try a new cable again.
Thanx again

Not sure whether this is a Win XP (Pro) problem or not but...
When I start my computer in the morning everything will work fine.
Next morning I start again and it doesn't recognise my 80GB Maxtor hard drive and asks to insert boot disk.
I restart (either reboot or shut down then restart -...
Thanks Randy, but the field is not on the form at the moment. No reason why it shouldn't be I suppose in which case it is probably a simpler approach. I will check it out and get back to you.
Thanks for your assistance.

I have a lookup table which contains one date field. I want to update (change) this date to Now() when I click a button on a form.
Can anyone please show me the code required to update this date field?
Many thanks in anticipation.

If you press Alt + down arrow when the cursor is in the combo it will drop down.
An alternate is to use Sendkeys "%"{down} in the On Enter event to drop the combo automatically when you enter.
Thanks, but not sure how to write this so that when I select the check box today (on Nov 17th) the field I wish to set the date in will read October 31st?
Thank again. I know it sounds easy but confusion reigneth!
I have a date field that I want to set to display the last day of the previous month when I select a check box. Can anyone give me the code for this please?
Many thanks in advance,
Tony
Hi,
I have followed this thread from the start. I have Win XP Pro and nowhere but nowhere is there anything about IIS or PWS in there. Can anyone suggest where I can find it? My XP is the upgrade pro version and now has the SP1 installed and there is no "INETMGR" nor anything in...
John,
I think you'll find that the Design of a database is automatically copyrighted after the design is completed, in the same way that an artists painting is automatically copyrighted, or a photographers picture is automatically copyrighted after taking the picture - as long as you put your...
Hi everyone,
I have a client who operates from three locations 100 miles apart. At each location they have an identical Access 2k database which receives and inputs local data and is dealt with locally. The main one has about 150,000 records, the other two each have about 35,000 records. They...
You will have to split your database into two (Use database splitter - Tools/Database Utilities/Database Splitter - then put the DB containing the data on the server and a copy of the db containing the forms, queries etc onto EACH desktop. Then link each desktop DB to the data DB via the...
