Is there any way to set the borderstyle for part of a field?
Example: crystal reports allows for setting the left,top,right and bottom seperately. Is there a way to do this in msaccess2000?
Thank you,
Donna.
In CR9 when setting the field border it does give you a suppress box and a place to put a calculation. I am trying to suppress the border based on a value in the record being displayed, but Crystal gives me an error at every turn.
Suppress if:
{fieldx} = "Y" --> tells me the outcome...
Found this artical in the Microsoft knowledgebase it might help you figure out way your query is not working.

With the assumtion that these file types are not flat files, try opening access and do a get external data link tables. Else try opening them in excel, or notepad to see if they can be read?
My way of handling this issue was to create a form with comboboxes for fields that a user may wish to search by. When they narrow the search and select that record. Which will allow you to use the value of a record identifier in requerying your master display form.
Instead of having two tables for Staff and Instructors, how about making them one table since Instructors are staff even if they are out side, they do the work. You could have
staff_id
staff_name
staff_function
staff function table could be
S - staff
SI - Staff/Instructor
OI - outside...
