I am having a wierd problem, I am unable to ping the router. I have a very basic config, I setup the interface with an IP on the network. I have it plugged into a switch which is fine. The network is fine, just added this router. I have the same config on this router as I did on another router...
I added the ACL for interface "inside" to interface "outside" for FTP on Outbound, Do I need to setup the same for inbound for this to work? I only want the server to access the outside FTP site as far as the internet is concerned. I used ASDM Packet Tracer and it shows it passes the traffic...
OK here is the slim version of the config. I don't have the FTP configs I tried in here because when I did add what I thought was right, it locked out RDP sessions through the VPN.
Result of the command: "sho runn"

To start I am new to the ASA world. There that's done. Here is the scenerio;
I have a ASA 5510 ver 8.4 in a offsite location. I am using the ASDM GUI(which I am used to CLI, so that's new for me), I have an outside interface to the I-net, DMZ, Inside interface, and a Main interface. The inside...
So you can have two different gateway's? I don't remember covering that in the training. OK I will create another SCCP Gateway for this location, I started to but stopped because I had the H.323 gateway already configured.
Add a note that this is setup as a h.323 gateway not as a MGCP. I was under the impression that it was able to be set up as a h.323 gateway and work, is that correct?
I have the gateway setup as SCCP however I didn't see where you configure the FXS ports on the gateway. Sorry first time I've had to set this up. I appreciate your help.
Trying this for the first time, I followed the instructions on setting up 'stcapp' on a 2911 router for two FXS ports. When I do the "sho stcapp device sum" I see
Total Devices: 2
Total Calls in Progress: 0
Total Call Legs in Use: 0

OK one other thing I tried, I setup a DID though the gateway to my extension and I don't get the MOH. Before I setup my extension as that site but went through my local number which is using a different gateway. So it seems to be tied to the gateway. I have the gateway set up on the same MRGL...
OK here is another thing I noticed, if I call the extension's DID direct and place a call on hold I get the MOH but if I call in through the CSQ I get the agents are busy, please hold but I don't get the MOH I get the silence.
OK I figured out what the issue was but now I have the same problem on another site. I can't figure out what I am missing, from whawt I can tell the sites are set up exactly the same. I have the audio source set up on the CM, I have the MRG setup for the MOH_2 for that location the same as the...
We have an audio set up on the CM for MOH and it works at the main site where the CM resides and at another location that is on a 2911 SRST but not at another site that is set up the same as the first site. I verified the codec is correct that is can use G711 & G729. I verified that the MOH...
OK found the issue, it wasn't an issue with the Cisco it was the outputs on the paging system its self. I had them remove the outputs to the speakers and the paging relays clicked and the tone. Thank you everyone for your post.
The thing I don't get is why am I still getting the fast busy when the line cord is not even plugged in? that to me rules out the Bogen too. Any thoughts?
Here is how I have the dial-peer set up:
!
dial-peer voice 80 pots
description *** Overhead paging ***
destination-pattern 80
port 0/1/1
forward-digits 0

Here is the output from the Debug:

I have the settings correct on the Bogen, and I don't think I missed anything in the CM. The wiring is just Line cord and that was from a working phone. It's the short pause and then the fast busy that gets me.
