Thanks Marv for the info. When a Novell product release is available (upgrade or SP) we get a notify from them. As for the ATT sessions, I usually go to the ones in Provo. I go there to escape from here :). Thanks again Marv.

Any suggestions on a 6.5 to 7.0 upgrade guide. The more detailed the better. Especially if it points out the pitfalls (if any).
Thanks guys!!

To expand upon Marvin's comments, here is a TID that has helped me in the past. Good Luck!

So after expanding the cabinet folders and then choosing Select Folder from that screen shows nothing in the folder?
When we installed our BES I can not think of anything special we had to do in order to view GW Cabinet folders. I am still a newby when it comes to BB's. But it sounds like some...
Using a v6.5.1 client should give you no major problems when matched w/a v6.5.5 backend. I have done this on a temporary basis a few times. But, I did find out early that if I had a problem w/a user having unexplainable problems, that upgrading the client to match the agents made the...
You could have a corrupt message in either the Defer, Send, Receive, WPSCIN or WPCSOUT folder. This will cause delays in delivery of messages.

The "??? has encountered an error and needs to close" is a very generic error. Does this error occur to all GW clients, and what version of GW are you running? We got this error in mass one time when we pushed a new image to about 1800 desktops. Our problem was a bad image concerning windows...
Are you by chance talking about the Auto Save feature for the Frequent Contacts address book? If so, you can turn it off by going to the Frequent Contacts address book and selecting File/Properties/Options/Auto-saving off.

Omitting the "cororate policies" issue, the Proxying and Rules tools in the GW client are two powerful allies when (but not limited to) a user has to monitor an account other than his/hers alone. I myself have 6 different GW faux accounts used for monitoring/reporting duties about our GW...
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Need your help with a slight problem. The system is GW 6.5.4, using LDAP authentication, running on NW 6.5.3. I have one user that logs into GW only to have the desktop client shutdown (no errors) somewhere between logging in and displaying account info. I have tried logging...
You might try replacing the Ofviews <dir> on your PO from either your GW CD or from your (S)oftware (D)istribution (D)irectory. Not knowing the exact count of files located in the Ofviews <dir> (over 700 I beleive) you might be missing some.

Please excuse me but I am a little confused with your problem. You show that the mail was transferred from your GW system to another system. As far as the GWIA is concerned that transaction is complete and there is no further action required. The part that confuses me is the one about...
What is the Action status on the sent items property screen? If the status is "Transferred", I would look more towards the problem being on the recipients end.
