    Hiding Agent Login Numbers

Thank you, Susan! That absolutely works! I suppose there is no way to turn this on for some and not for others?

    Hiding Agent Login Numbers

Does anyone have a suggestion for hiding agent login numbers so that they do not display when calling internal numbers? We are using CM5.2.1. Thank you for any help you can give me. (Hope this posts to the Avaya: Definity Systems Forum this time!!)

    Hiding Agent Login Numbers

Does anyone have an idea on how I would hide the agent login number when an agent calls an internal number? Showing the name is okay, we would like to hide their number. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me.

Analog Polycom W2 "wireless" phone Issue

We have had a number of these stop registering. It is a "known" issue with these units. There is a small connector that gets too hot and burns in two making the unit unfixable until you send it off for repairs to the tune of a couple hundred dollars.

Call Me and Notify Me turn off

I may be off base here, but it is an idea for you. Our system here has 2 MAS's that are to work in sync with the MSS. We recently had an issue with those individuals whose mailboxes connected to the MAS2. The system did not recognize the password and would tell the individual to call the...

    Administrative Message on Modular Messaging

Are you speaking of the admin messages that you get if you get a failure on a call me or notify me? If so, and you are using the web client, there is a special folder for these messages and you can delete them just as you do any other message in your mailbox.

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

All, Avaya support says making the number a VDN and replacing all current 1234's numbers with a second number and routing to that second number in a vector will work as well when using the extension first parameter. The number will not appear on the un-used extension list. Thanks all...

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

That could be a possibility. I will pose that question to our staff and see if other set-ups might be confused with this change. Thank you all for your replies and comments. If you still have ideas, I am still listening! Jean

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

Trav4620, Darn... ours is set to local-extension-first BUT my idea above may still work if I use the main number as a VDN and route in the vector to a secondary number in the UDP table to where this number was supposed to go. I actually tried this by setting up a VDN and routing to the...

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

Trav4620, When you say "mark" your UDP ranges with VDN's do you mean just assign the number a VDN? Can you give me an example? The number I wish to make certain is not IN the unused extension list is say 1234. Can you give me an example using that extension? Thank you too, Susan for...

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

This is a great tip, but unfortunately that IS checked and the number still appears on the extensions available for assignment list. I made certain the number really WAS in the Uniform Dial Plan. Would there be such an idea of making the extension a VDN and then routing to a number in the UDP...

Blocking Extensions in UPD Table from use

We currently have some extension in UDP table that will show up in unused extension list and have been used for station numbers that inadvertently re-route the calls. Anyway to block these numbers from use? or at least block them from showing up on an unused extension report?
