I have a digital announcer provided by Nortel but I feel is made by Cook. It is a 2 channel announcer with a NT5M02TM11031C sticker on back that answers RAN routes on attendant overflow. The customer has not accessed it in a long time and would like to change the recording but has lost the...
The M7100's are all on the main unit spread through Buss's 2,3, and 4 which are 32+ station modules. The remaining slot in the main supports a GATM (buss 7). The expansion has a GATM module(buss 7) and a combo(4x16)on Buss 6 which has ports used by a wireless Spectralink but no trunking...
I know that the problem has involved more than one, at least 6 or more that I know of. I do not know whether they are on the main cabinet or spread out through the BCM. I can check that today.
I have a problem on a BCM400 with expansion cabinet. The software is 3.5. It has been in for a year running fine except for the chronic problem of M7100's not getting intercom dialtone when you go off hook. The pushing of the "RLS" button or the "Feature" buttom usually brings up the intercom...
I got a kick out of reading the responses which are all so true. I am always grateful of the support I got on my few questions. I have answered a couple of questions from others and I would answer more but correct responses are made so quickly there is no point in my "echoing" someones...
I appreciate the replies. I did not hold out much hope, I tried all the little tricks. I thought it was a reasonable request from the customer to speed things up. The software is early vintage (did not check it) so SWCA is not an option (good suggestion though). I am always impressed with this...
I have a customer who parks all incoming calls and pages out who needs to retreive the call that is parked for them. The majority of calls park on "101". His phones are all "prime" to the intercom path. He would like to eliminate the need to dial the "101" and store...
If your system is only going to be down for that short a period of time you shouldn't have to worry about losing any of your systems configuration. When the power comes back on it should be working fine without having to do a backup.
Using Norstar Remote Utlilities, how am I able to convert downloaded data from a Norstar switch and convert it to a spreadsheet (Excel) such that I can print it out? Is this possible and how easy is it to do?
If your trunk lines go through a remote switch such as a DMS1U or SMU with old version cards the Norstar will not see the COD from the CO it may have to be put on straight copper Also check the disconnect timer on the Norstar matches the settings of the DMS, I think the default is 460.
I have an older model of RAD (NT8B80) I have forgotten the password of. I have noticed on some posted tips to short the "wafer battery" inside the unit but I am unable to locate it. I attempt to log into it using F9** the screen goes blank for about 5 seconds and returns to the time...
