I would probably go one step further and install the video drivers in safe mode as well. It sometimes helps with the glitches. Good Luck Lilbpaw

I don't know if this will help, however, check the standby in the power options. Maybe you could disable it and see if that helps. I don't know if the BIOS setting for standby or such would help but you might one check it out. Good Luck Lilbpaw
