Guys:
I have been searching and cannot find a clear answer on this. So pardon the question if I missed it.
I have a client that has Server 2000 and Exchange 2000 on the same box. It is a single domain environment of 20 people thus the single server.
The question is, can we upgrade to SBS...
I figured the answer out myself.
Here is the solution
One BOTH Exchange and Exchweb in Properties, Directory Security, IP Address restrictions. You have to check "Granted Access".
This has to be done on BOTH. The only reference to this on this site talked about Exchweb only. It is...
All:
I just installed a new server with SBS and Exchange 2003. Installed security patches and Exchange SP1.
OWA works internally but not externally.
I have searched and tried what was suggested but am still stuck.
External browsers get the 403.6 error. "The Web server you are attempting to...
It is gone. I find this VERY odd as well.
I just did a repair install and it looks to be coming back together.
I have no idea what might have popped the service. Like I said it was just plain gone.
All:
Got a call today saying they could not login to their W2K SP4 server.
After diagnosing the server it looks as if the Kerberos serivce is gone. Not disabled or anything but gone.
Is there any way to install the Kerberos files without a total reload?
Thanks in advance
Tim

Company2 is sharing space at Company1. The executives that is. I do not know where the hardware is located. Would be a good idea to ask.

I am not sure. I know I am but they just have company2.com in...
There is no VPN client on the "visitors" notebooks. The visiting PC's are not connecting to company1.com's exchange server. They have access to the internet from their wireless notebooks.
I will get the exact wording of the message but I am almost sure it is Connection interrupted...
They do not have OWA set up on their server. I am not even sure if they are using Exchange.
Someone suggested that because my server is inside the firewall that this is causing the issue.
Wouldn't they need that VPN on their side as well?
Gang:
I have been digging in these forums and what I have found does not work.
Situation:
Network at company1.com has an exchange 2000 server and is behind a sonicwall firewall.
There are several people working out of this office for company2.com. They want to be able to send and receive...
