Kerberos Missing

All:

Got a call today saying they could not login to their W2K SP4 server.

After diagnosing the server it looks as if the Kerberos serivce is gone. Not disabled or anything but gone.

Is there any way to install the Kerberos files without a total reload?

The Kerberos Key Distribution Server is not present on the domain controller?

What kinds of errors are in the event logs?

It is gone. I find this VERY odd as well.

I just did a repair install and it looks to be coming back together.

I have no idea what might have popped the service. Like I said it was just plain gone.
