Hello Brain Trust:
We have a win2k server with sp4. This is the GC and is the only server in the environment.
It was just installed, dual Xenon's, 1gig of RAM etc. Has Trend Micro Virus software (for exchenge and clients), Backup Exec 9.0, Exchange 2000 SP3, Running as the DNS server.
When we need to reboot or shut the machine down it sits at "Shutting Down" for 10 min. I cannot see anything in my event logs and cannot find anything on Tek-Tips.
Is it possible I have a service that is taking to long to shut down? If so how might I force service shut downs?
I have no idea how to trouble shoot this one.
Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance
