bump! i've found that you can select all the text field and apply a condition to all of them at the same time.... thx G L S P.S. i dont know why you call a field( or text field) a control since its passive in a report though, is it how Microsoft calls it? Fred

Is it possible to open a page and have it to show only specific data.... not the whole set of data like we can do with a form with DoCmd.OpenForm ? I've tried DoCmd.OpenDataAccessPage but u cant set any argument to specify the data u want ti to show. thx Popo
