Help!
I am trying to install Redhat 7.1 on a machine with a Sony CDU76S CD rom SCSI. This worked with Redhat 6.2 but cannot detect under this new version. Is there anyway to get some appropriate drivers? I have tried redhat.com and sony-cp.com to no avail.

If you do not want to put extra tools on your Workstation etc you can use VNC to connect to your NT Server remotely.
This is a cool (free) utility that allows you to "take control" of a remote PC (Server or Workstation) and use the machine as if you were sitting there.

A bit of a longshot but login as another user. Try the su command followed by password. Then try running sam. If this runs you should be able to reactivate root login.
