I use NAV for Exchange. I changed the setting to delete the file instead of converting into to text. There's been no need to keep the file or try to repair it. I also delete it without notifing the recepient or sender. I still receive a notification under my admin account to see how many where...
I have a filemaker file with extension *.db (I think it's MAC). I need to import the data to anything that can see it. When I convert in Filemaker 5.5, it doesn't convert all the data. I don't care if I import into Excel or Access. I just need to see the data. Any ideas?
Whenever we receive an email that has a virus-ridden attachment, the attachment is quarantined, but the email still goes to the recepient. Is there a way to block it entirely? My users don't want to receive the email at all (not even a notification)
I'm about to install Backup Exec 9 on a Windows 2000 server that is also running NAV Server (8.0 corp ed). Has anyone heard of any problems with the two running on the same server?
My exchange server is running out of disk space. I've deleted old mailboxes, but the size does not change. I think I need to run a manul defrag. Has anyone done it lately who can tell me of anything I should be aware of? Can I run it eventhough I don't have much space left? Any other ideas?
It's my mail server that is also running as a primary domain controller, dns. Crazy as this sounds. I'm in the process of adding servers to spread the load. Anyway, it's a host(A) record. I think AD is causing it to reappear
We have a Compaq DL320 server that I'm trying to install Windows 2000 server. For some reason, it's not able to see the harddrive. BIOS can see it, but when it comes to the install, it fails. I thought I might need a third-party SCSI Adapter install, but the server didn't come with any disks...
I have two staff members that connect to a database that is located on another pc. When they start their computer, the connection works, but after some time it loses it. The only way to get it back is to restart their computer. Any ideas why this happens?
We lost our Domain controller server that was running Win2k server. It was a dns, dhcp server as well. Our exchange server is running fine and everyone can access it. I was wondering if it would be easier to create a new domain and move exchange to the new domain. Any advise?
No PDC, BDC. Now I'm confused. Doesn't AD need a domain controller?
If I lose the main server and I have another server that seems to be taking over. I'm able to add/change users. Now it's not working completely because the group policies are not present, but everyone is able to login and...
I have windows 2000 server that was running as a primary domain controller, active directory, dns and dhcp. The hard drive failed and now I have to rebuild it from scratch. I was told that you can't re-install and name it the same as before because it can cause problems. How do re-introduce the...
I have Exchange 2000 running on Windows 2000 server. Once a week (usually on Saturday), no one can access the server (they use Outlook) locally or remotely. When I check the server, it looks like it's running fine. I can ping to it from my desktop, but I can get to email. I do notice when I open...
