Hi,
Here is a new bug in IPO 3.2.59 / VMPRO 3.2.35.
If a user logs off from a VMPRO session by dialing **9 they hear the "good bye" confirmation but the line does not drop indefinitely. They have to push their "Spkr" button to disconnect.
Tested on Avaya 4412D+ phone.

Hi,
The issue introduced in Phone Manager Lite 3.2.34 and IPO 3.2.57 is not fixed in the new release.
When short code is dialed "Number" and "To" columns are not populated in the Phone Manager Lite log. They show at the time the call is in progress but cannot make it to the call log.
Vladimir...
Hi everybody,
Tried to report the problem to Avaya. Just wasted time.
Ever since the upgrade was applied outgoing calls placed by dialing a short code are not properly logged in the Phone Manager Lite. Specifically, "Number" and "To" columns are left blank. Very useful logging, isn't it...
Before coming to this forum I did my homework. Specifically I made sure to try all settings in Palm Treo, called Sprint technical support, etc.
What I hoped to get here is the answer to my question, "What could be done in IPO403 v.3.2 so it would recognize DTMF as it did in ver. 2.1?"
Thank...
OK. Monday morning test results.
Tapped the analog phone to the incoming analog line. Made the user place the call and activate additional digits dialing after the connection was established.
The DTMF tones were heard by me nice and clear, no noise, no breaks, not too fast.
Any ideas?
BTW...
Hi guys,
Did anybody run into a problem when a Treo 700p user cannot reliably log into the VMPro mail box using their VMPro credentials pre-programed into the Treo address book as additional digits?
The user gets "Login Incorrect" in about 85% of cases. Then they need to manually re-enter name...
Hi guys,
Since IPO 403 is not on the supported list any more I have two questions.
1. Should I try installing ver.4 on it? My feeling is it would not work for multiple reasons, but why not to ask...
2. Will VMPro ver.4 and User Apps ver.4 work with IPO 403 running 3.2 (55)?
Thank you...
VMPro Wish List.
1. Repair scan (option 7.) In 3.2.28_4 it plays the header of either first new or the oldest message and stops right there.
2. Introduce a choice to listen to the new messages again after they have been listened once. Right now it is necessary to skip all old messages to...
Guys,
Thank you for the ideas.
First, I will need to install the modem in the VMPro server, which will not be so easy since it is a 1U blade... I am assuming I can only use a local COMx on the VMPro server not IP Office ports with the VMAlerter.
Is there a way to remove these blank "trigger"...
badsushi,
Great. Thank you very much.
It is very close to what I was looking for. It does not allow assigning schedules so it would not call in the middle of the night and it does not allow to recognize the message properties, like priority, personal, etc. and modify the notification pattern...
aarenot,
Thank you for the reply.
I do have single page dial-out implemented as well as an e-mail notification with or without .WAV file attached using available Avaya IP Office features.
The keywords in my question are:
1. Scheduled, i.e. periodic notification;
2. Stop notification when...
dphoneguy24,
Thank you for the reply.
Do you have any technical details of the outcalling implementation by Avaya? Do they have any ETA for the new version?
Thank you,
Vladimir
aarenot,
Thank you for the link. I will look into the NotePager solution, although from the first glance it looks like it will not work since it does not integrate with the IP Office.
In you previous message you mentioned, "Then you can use broadcast on a hunt group to send it to as many as...
Guys,
Both suggestions are great, especially the one with overhead paging. I will give it a try right now. Joking...
What I am looking for is getting somebody's wearable pager activated per certain schedule depending on the urgency of the message left until they check the message.
Thanks...
Hi,
We used to run Panasonic DBS which had a nice feature which called or paged the user while they had unchecked new messages in their mailbox. The feature allowed to differentiate the messages by priority and use a different call pattern accordingly.
Can any of that be implemented in IP...
Hi Frank,
Thank you very much. It looks exactly like what I was looking for.
Can you please send a link to the Lucent document? Do they have more unlisted commands?
Thank you,
Vladimir
