Hi. By accident, a folder (under Outlook Today) was deleted from the user Mailbox this morning. I need to get that folder back. Is any way to recover it? We use Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2000. Thanks in advance!

Tested from outside. www.mysite.com:81 is working, and website is accessable.
Now question is how to get rid of :81 at the end of the domain name.

I am working on setting up my website. Here is my situation:
- I want to setup a domain (www.mysite.com - fake name) on my own IIS 5 web server;
- I have a cable connection from Adelphia, but the port 80 is blocked. I can use port 81;
- IIS is setup to host www.mysite.com (in port 81)

Hello, Everyone:
We purchased this server about 4 yrs ago (DELL PowerEdge 2400) with 550 MHz processor and RAID 5 Hard Drive configuration. Now, the hard drive is dying. I could spend a few hundred bucks to replace one/two of the hard drives easy and still use the server, but I convienced my...
We have a small network with approx 25 users. The PDC is also our mail server, with NT4.0 sp6, Exchange 5.5 sp4 and some small applications on it. The PDC is dying. I need to purchase and set up a new server to replace the PDC before it dies.
Have anybody done this before? Any good links...

I can see your web. It seems you set the website at port 443 for some reason.

First, use web authentication to logon by checking the username and password. Once logged on, session variables should be established based on the username and password, and the user will be forwarded to a custom page (say, MyInfo.asp) based to show their financial information.

When you load FP98, the system resets the server extension setting. You need to set up the permission again.
To do so, open IIS. Highlight the website in question, right click, go Properties. Click HOME DIRECTORY tab, at lower section, at Execute Permission, select Scripts or Scripts...

That was I thought. After I moved my mailbox to the w2k, when I logon via OWA, I got a message "Failed to get inbox". When log on from local mail client (Outlook), it is seamless.
By the way, when I moved the mailboxes, I went to Recipients, selected Mailbox in question, open...
Hi, all:
I have an Exchange 5.5 on one server (NT4, sp6), behind Firebox - from where I have both SMTP and and OWA traffic directed the this box. Lately, I also added another Exchange 5.5 on a w2k server (sp2) in the same domain. To balance the load, I moved some mailboxes to the w2k box...
Well, 192.168.0.1 is your internal IP, which I have no access to :-). Anyway, if you can get to the ASP based default page, it means that it is not script problem.
Since you use 192.168.0.1 as your IP, you should not use 127.0.0.1 as I mentioned above. Just use <a href="test.asp">Go...
I don't have XP and I cannot see how you set up the web under IIS. As far as I understand now, you have ASP problem, the problem may have associated with the "Virtual Directory".
Let's take out the Virtual Directory (we will take care of it later), and look into it this way, please...

The best advise I can give are:
1. Have a firebox as brontosaurus suggested. Close all the ports. Open only the ports you need. Determine what is the need before openning a port and allowing the traffic (inbound/outbound).
2. Disable all the services, only enable the services you need...
I tried dcpromo first, but it didn't let me. The error message I got was:

Have you double checked the linking document, its extension and path, etc.. did you try a default home page using default.asp or index.asp? What did you find ? We need more info.

Hey, everyone: I have a home network with W2k server as DC and 3 desktops and one laptop - all w2k pro. The current domain name was setup based on a testing project around 2 years ago. Now I want to change the domain to a new name. I also have Exe 5.5 installed on same box.
My question is...
Well, it should be "Server-side" support. Sorry for the error. It's not about whether you can do it or not, it's about HOW
