Well - i hope someone can help.....i have a new exchange server which i have put into an existing 5.5 organization but when i pull up the GAL on a client connected to the 2003 server it only pulls up the address list from the server next to it not from the top level group....

- erm - i cant find any postings for the problem that i have but i think its a common one - my network consists of a multiple of servers some 2k some NT4 however my profiles are held on an NT4 box. what happens is, a user would log in under 2000 (no problems) then they log out and roam to an NT4...

this is an old one - what you have to do on the 2000 box is create an account with the same computer name as the 98 box and then it should connect ok!

Another approach would be to remove the disc stick it on the back of another machine to recover your files -then rebuild from scratch?? Just a thought Andy Turner Sys Admin
