I'm trying to connect from my ME box to Windows 2000. I can from 2000 -> ME although I run into a connection timeout. So I try to connect ME -> 2000 it then prompts me for the IPC$ share password. Its any password I've ever used before. Is there a place where I can reset this password? I've tried to reset the "NTLM only" authentication with no luck any clues out there?

this is an old one - what you have to do on the 2000 box is create an account with the same computer name as the 98 box and then it should connect
