I have a Windows Server 2003 server and I want to install a print driver for Vista. Vista is not one of the supported shared drivers. Is there something I can do to add this as an option for sharing?
My wife is using a Excel spreadsheet where she is entering email addresses. After about 250 addresses the hyperlink automactic creation stop working. I have found ways to force hyperlinks to stop working, but not why it would just stop or how to start it again. Any one have any ideas?
I have downloaded nw65sp5.exe a couple of time and keep getting "missing server.exe from STARTUP directory" when I go to install it. Does anyone have any ideas?

When you install the MSDE server during the installation of PrtotectionPilot you are not allowed to change ports. The default port is 1044. Is there a way to verify that this port is open? I would assume that if the port is selected during the install this means that the port would be open.

Sorry it took a little longer to test than I had hoped. I applied the patch the Microsoft supplied (not a patch available to the general public) and this did not help at all. As soon as I rebooted after applying the Security Rollup patch the machine crashed. Of course the machine will never get...
I was able to back the patch out and get the servers back up and running. Here is how I backed the patch out.
From the C:\winnt directory of the Recovery Console:
CD $ntUpdateRollupPackUninstall$
CD SPUninst
Type: batch spuninst.txt <enter>:
I have six Windows 2000 servers and all of them died after install the Security rollup yeterday. I am not able to boot them even in safe mode. Total loss of what to do! During startup they all die with mode_exception_not_handled, i'm not sure about the first letter the m could be something else...
I have no idea if this will help but...I installed NT on a new Dell server. After installation the CD was not available. I looked up the problem on the Dell web site and it was a quick fix. I went to Control Panel/SCSI devices/Add driver and added IDE mass storage device.
