the easiest way is to go into Header and Footer and insert Word Art and then rotate it. Because it's part of the header and footer you can set it to be different on odd and even pages, first page etc.
OK, this might be a little hard to explain, but basically I'm after a simple formula, but it seems impossible to do.
I have a spreadsheet where I want the cell A2 to equal the cell B1, A3 to equal C1, B3 to equal C2 etc...basically I want to create a mirror image along the diagonal starting...
I can't see any attachment, but you're welcome to email it to me directly on katherine_coombs@bigpond.comCan you also reference some columns and cells that should be protected etc??
Hi all,
hopefully an easy one! I have an old laptop that needs to be rebuilt. What I usually do is boot into DOS, do an fdisk and then start from scratch again. Nice and easy. The problem with this particular laptop is that the floppy and CD are interchangeable, in that you can't have both...
Hi there,
Thanks for the help. Strange things are happening! I ended up being able (can't even remember how) to delete the CSC folder and rename CSC-old to CSC and then open it up be enabling off-line folders again. But the user swears black and blue that he was working on files that don't...
I don't even know where to start..a user was having problems synchronising his off-line folders. For some reason, when he got back into the network it would not synch (it would come up with some weird thing about not having permissions even though he did) unless he logged on using his cached...

well it's not elegant, but you could select an entire column, go to Edit -->Go To-->Special-->Visible Cells Only and use the status bar to give you the count. Minus off 1 for the row header and that's your magic number.
Worked for me, but it might be too laborious?
Cheers,

Well I couldn't quite get the database function working well, but the SUM array formula works a treat. I've got some text codes (eg GA0000) as well as so I removed the "value" field and changed it from left (a4,5) to left (a4,6) and it works a treat. Thanks so much Geoff!
This is a hidden trap and might explain the problem:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/577.asp
Basically, Windows 2000 machines don't know what to do with text that exceeds 512 characters in length.
Does this help??
Katherine
Try any of these:

Hi there,
usually it's a setting in Control Panel --> Mouse and there should be a "Wheel" TAB in there that specifies how many lines etc it scrolls at anyone time.
Is that what you mean...or is it moving too fast when you press on the arrow down button below the scroll bar in Word...
