Finding files on network by owner

Well I copied "FSUTIL" to the "C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32" directory on the server, and now the command works OK. I redirected it to a text file, and now I at least know where the user's files are on our network. The output is bare bones information wise, and since starting this...

I tried what Chris suggested, from my Windows XP client connected to our Windows 2000 Domain, and when I entered the drive letter for our common user drive (which is on the Windows 2000 Server), I would get a message back that a NTFS volume was needed. Sorry I don't remember the exact message...

At work we have a small network which has one NT 4.0 PDC, and a mixture of Windows 95, 98, 2000 & XP clients. We have 4 Compaq EVO desktops running XP, and we just purchased 4 more Compaq EVOs running XP, and I just setup one of them, and was able to log into the domain w/o issues. Once I...

    Excel 2000 Password Question

    Ad-Aware

The best place to get AD-Aware is directly from them at: www.lavasoftusa.nu, and you can also get the latest signature files & reference updates. FYI, I also have this running on my Win2K Advanced Server, and own a registered full version.

Problem adding FTP Component in Win2k Server - Help!

If possible, have you have already tried restarting the server? Why haven't you installed the latest service pack? I think I would start by installing the service pack (SP2), then I would try installing IIS install again. Where are the Win2K files located, that the install program is trying...
