    My browser loads some web sites but not others. The sites that don't load are always the same ones. I have reinstalled my browser (IE5.5), reinstalled Win98, played with the security settings, and checked the hosts file. What else can I try?

    Thanks qazx! It worked. Only the one drive was listed in the device manager, but I removed it. After two reboots everything was back in order. I recently upgraded to Win98SE from Win95. My system used to be very stable and trouble free, but now it's just one problem after another.
