The field data looks like this:
8/22/2003 12:00:00AM
I can get it to work using this selection formula:
{Data.Date}>= DateTime (2003, 07, 03,00, 00, 00) and
{Data.Date}<= DateTime (2003, 07, 03,00, 00, 00)
Now my problem is Crystal won't let a person actually pick their own dates. It just...
I have a field set up in Access 97 that is "Short Date," so that it looks like 8/22/03.
I have made a report using Crystal that needs to limit the records by a range of dates, but for some reason, I can't get it to pick up the correct data. I've tried lots of combinations and nothing...
Hello,
In some of my reports, the items in the selection formula prompt you to enter any changes or just to use the default value.
I am having a problem doing this with boolean values. For example, I want to be able to change "false" to "true" in some cases, but when I run...
Hello,
I have an Access 97 database that will be used by several people at the same time. One of the things needed when a person starts a new record is to automatically fill in their name.
Does anyone know how to make Access read a file on a person's computer (a text file, for example) and...
I should also mention that I can link the first field to the database and it returns the results as it should. But I can't link more than one.
I'm using Crystal 7.
Does anyone have any idea why I can't link more than one field from an Access database to the database that's supposed to be returning information?
Let's say for example I have a database that has 10 fields to enter in item numbers, all associated with the same record.
Now I want to link all...
Here's how I'd like it to work.
The person opens up the form then types in an account number. This runs a query that pulls the name and address of the store and displays it on the form.
Now let's say that I want to run a report to see why they called in the past. I click a button and it asks...
Hello,
Thanks for the help! That does work, but now I have another problem.
When I click the button, it brings up all the information in a query table. How can I get it to print in a report? I've tried linking it but it keeps bringing up the Enter Parameter box. Any ideas?
Thanks.
I have a form that has a few buttons on it that run queries. These queries ask for an account number when you run them.
The problem is, I have that accout number in a text box on the form already. How can I pass along that number into the "Enter parameter" box so that the query will...
This does work, except for one problem. One of the recordsets is not updateable and the other is just a table that should be updateable.
Now with the two combined, for some reason, it thinks that the table that is supposed to be updateable can't be updated.
So now I can get the information...
I have a database that has two forms, two tables, and a query. Here's what I would like it to do, but can't figure out how to do it.
The first form contains an account number text box. After the person types in this account number, it should run a query that pulls the name and address from...
If I have a field that won't let me do a sum({fieldname}) because of the message saying "The field can not be summarized," how can I add them up so that I can subtract them from something else?
I've tried everything I know of in Crystal to get it to work, so I hope you advanced people...
I have a report that I'd like to print out just the first 50 records after going through the entire database and totaling things up.
Any idea how to do that?
Thanks.
I have an older report that was created that had a field that was designated as "Time." When I selected Format Field, it was always set up as a time field.
But since I did a Verify Database on this report, it has somehow changed the field from Time to Number, making all the times...
I have a report that is located on a network drive. When I run this report on one computer, it retrieves all the data as it should and produces accurate results. When I click on "Browse Data" the information listed is correct, in this case times that a transaction took place.
