I have an older report that was created that had a field that was designated as "Time." When I selected Format Field, it was always set up as a time field.

But since I did a Verify Database on this report, it has somehow changed the field from Time to Number, making all the times appear as garbage. The field information still appears as normal times when looking at the data, but Crystal doesn't see it that way.

Does anyone know how to convert it back? I'm using Crystal 7.

Thanks!

The database is a Btrieve database.

If verify database converted the data type to number, thats because someone has actually changed the data type in the btrieve database.

You could write a formula to display the number as a time, or to convert it to a time. Other than that, you would need to go to the database itself and change the filedback to a time data type, and then verify the datasbase in CR again.
