I have naturally used fans that are tested already. There is no problem with the fans . If the temp sensor is actually in the CPU then could the cpu run the laptop ok yet just not trip the fans to work ? maybe the cpu has been damaged already previously when the fan failed ?

Hi Alan thanks for your response this is correl 6. I cannot see an enhanced mode option anywhere ? Another thing I have noticed is that the page size has a default setting of `letter' size and even with A4 setting zooming to `page' leaves a huge blank border around the page?
