help needed with zoom settings Correl 6

I need to be able to read all of the text at all zoom levels but Correl 6 reduces text to a graphic representation at a certain point of page zoom reduction.

To read the text I have to zoom to the next level up which gives me a massive 2x or greater magnification. What I want to read is then off the viewable area.Ggggggrrrrrrr

Is there a way I can make the zoom tool magnify in smaller steps ?
Or is there a way I can force Correl to display text when using small fonts ie 6 or 8

I cannot see an enhanced mode option anywhere ?
Another thing I have noticed is that the page size has a default setting of `letter' size and even with A4 setting zooming to `page' leaves a huge blank border around the page?

V6 is fairly old, what options do you have under the view tab? do you have am enhanced mode?. With later versions change the page size then tools-options-document-tick save options as default for new documents. I can't remeber if this is the same for V6. I did have V6 for a very short while but found it very hard work, you would certainly notice a HUGE improvement if you were to upgrade, there are some good deals about, where are you in the world?

No there isn't a enhanced under view I'm afraid.
I purchased correl 8 some years back to upgrade from 4 and found it far too top heavy. It was slow to load and page refresh and the screen was so inundated with useless rarely used tools and gizmos that I was unable to view my work properly on the amount of screen left.
Correl 6 is a compromise which I only use because 4 will not recognise a lot of file formats now.
I cannot find any option to change the default settings on C6 although it must exist somewhere.?

Why does the `zoom to page' option not fill the screen fully ?
