Dear Vlan52,
Thanks.
Using syslog is - in my case - the best way I guess. I was hoping not to need this because of the additional load on the network, using and maintaining a separate syslog server, unexperienced helpdesk and some other reasons. But again - it is the best way I guess.
Now I...
Dear Vlan,
Thanks again for your support.
The MIB you mention does not support 2600 Cisco Routers and supports other devices only with IOS release 12.0T or later release of 12.0T.
Unfortunately we use a lot off 2600s and the suppored routers we have are not all using the required IOS release...
Dear Forum,
I am using NNM 6.1 on Sun Solaris. Our devices are Cisco.
We are using ISDN as Backup for the serial lines.
What I need is a MIB for ISDN which gives me information on ISDN Connect/Disconnect, Calling/Called number, Connection Time etc.
Does someone has a suggestion which MIB to...
Dear Vlan52,
Thanks for your support.
I think that I configured sendmail properly. Since it can forward messages to my exchange domain. That works fine.
What does not work is sending email with event details as a automatic action in NNM. The automatic action (i found this on this forum)I use...
Dear Mike,
I know about the automatic action. I use automatic actions for various events - but I could not get it work to send email notification about events.

If someone can give me the answers.
Thanks in...
Dear Friends,

In Device Fault Manager -> Administration -> Fault Notification -> Mail Notifier, one have to configure DFM Mail Notifier. I have a (rather stupid) question about the Sender ID field: WHAT...
Dear Friends,
In Cisco Works LMS 2.0 the User Tracking table is missing hostname, IP address and subnet for all hosts. There is a router involved but CW2000 has no CDP/Snmp community string access to this router. The reason that CW2000 has no access to the router is because the WAN is managed...
Dear Friends,

Dear Martin,
Thanks for your help!
I made the modifications to the hosts file already in an earlier stage. But this was not the solution to the problems.
Do you have other suggestions?
Kind regards,
Harry
You have to start the JRUN Proxy Server, via the Services manager in Win2000. You can set this to automatic, so it will start itself at startup of the Win2000 Server. After you started the JRUN Proxy Server you can logon at CW2000 server and you get rid off the cookie state. Sometimes you have...
