    I use ftp and am always careful to upload in ascii when necessary. I don't even rely on the ftp's autodetect to do it for me. I set ascii manually to be sure. I keep telling my host that it's something to do with his server, but he keeps saying no. Arggg! I know I haven't made any changes...
