Hello Nick If you go into your deleted items folder then access the tools menu, there is a recover deleted items option. Depending on how long your admin have set for this to be cleared down, you may be lucky and still find what you're looking for.

It's all depends on your default printer. Whatever is listed in your font selection in Word is determined by what your printer supports. A deskjet, for example, is unlikely to have PCL fonts available. If at all possible, get your user to change their printer default to your printer and see if...

Hello Anne. Thanks for the response. However, after fishing about a bit, I've discovered that when they run the merge, the option to supress blank lines is selected. When this is switched off, the formatting behaves as it should and everything prints as it should.

It could possibly be a corrupt normal.dot file. Try renaming it, e.g. normal.old, then go back into Word. It'll recreate the normal.dot and hopefully restore your toolbars.
