Outlook deleted e-mails location

When an e-mail get's deleted from MS Outlook and then subsequently is deleted from the deleted items section in Outlook is there any way to retrieve it. There are rumours that Windows keep within them lots of information and I am guessing all deleted e-mails must be leaving a trace. The point is: where can I locate them and retrieve them?

Windows doesn't keep them. The Exchange Server does. If you're not *at work* on an Exchange server....might as well forget it. Anne Troy

Hello Nick

If you go into your deleted items folder then access the tools menu, there is a recover deleted items option. Depending on how long your admin have set for this to be cleared down, you may be lucky and still find what you're looking for.
