Does anyone know of a way i can get the physical backup file name, eg Backup.bak from the msdb.dbo.backupset table?

I use a VSS based backup program that backs up the database files. Now, I want to do a point in time restore, using the data files. So is there a way I can attach the datafiles, but leave the database in a NoRecovery mode so I can apply TLogs? Thanks Q

Any suggestions on how to keep the TLog from growing out of control on the Principal of a mirroring pair? Can i use traditional TLOG backups? If so, do i need to pause the mirroring? Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated. Thanks Q

Is there a sys database or view in Master or MSDB that will let me know when a database was dropped? I see it on the 8th and now it is gone. Someone dropped it in between. and i want to find out when. I guess there is a chance it was dettached too, so any ideas on that too. Any ideas? Thanks Q
