Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Recently, I'm unable to attach to 2 workstations that I was able to connect
to as early as 3 three weeks ago. I'm using BENT 8.60 Rev.3808. When I click
on either system in the selection area, I get an hour glass that will spin
forever and if I go to Task...
O no, It's not just you..
I'll give you a review:
I recently performed an upgrade from Home to Pro (1st experience,)to gain the domain/network access on a Dell 4400 Dimension with a 1.8GHz and 128MBRam. Brand new system.
What a pain in the A**.
I've been in the field for quite some time and...

Hey all,
Just a couple of quick questions for those of you in the know.
1. Is there an email size limit in Exch.
2. When using OWA, does the user's .PST file need to be on the server or workstation?
3. Is there a .PST size limitation?
4. Anyone know a good reference for Exch. 5.5?
Thanks...
Do you have Internet Connection Sharing installed on the 2000 server?
Double check the workstations, make sure they are getting all of the appropriate IP information, (Gateway, DNS, etc.)
Thanks for the response Dan,
So you're saying as part of the OWA installation it gets loaded on all servers by default or that's a setup choice and you can put it on any server?
Hello Again,
Would anyone out there care to elaborate on the benefit of having OWA on a seperate server from the Exchange server?
Is this the recommended setup environ?
Also, are there any major problems associated with OWA 2000 or is it as good or better than its predecessors?
Can anyone...
Hey Gurus,

You'll have to speak to Veritas sales to get the specific prices and part numbers, but your looking at a pricey proposition. Just for starters you'll need the Exch, Oracle, and Open File Agents for the servers.
You may need Multi Server to Server Edition of BE or Network Storage Executive...
If the skipped files are database files, i.e. Lotus/Domino or Oracle, etc. Veritas(Backup Exec) has Agent Options specifically designed for them as well. :-)
bkonner,
Also, the extender cable lets the network see the switches as "1" device on the network, as opposed to two when using the cross-over cable. This is mainly to eliminate hop counts over a large disperse area, with many hubs or switches.
If hop count isn't a concern for the...
Un-LAN able,
This is definitely a conflict of sorts. What you should try is to look at the device manager with the network card in, then again with the network card out. And see how the settings differ. The conflict doesn't have to necessarily be in the sound card. It might be a result of...
I have a W2k server (sp2) acting as a DC, the clients are made up of 95/98 amd ME.
The question is:
When some of these users access documents (word, excel) etc.; on the server, after going back in to view or change them later, they find they have not been updated.
I'm leaning toward the...
