Start with a google search for EDI, then review those sites that allow you to download and sample their software, then start pricing those that will fulfill your application needs....and don't forget that the communications issues (FTP, AS2, VANS...etc.) are separate.

One other suggestion, would be to pad the inbound mapped
data with a special character, then strip the character
in your application, or leave it alone; and stip the
character in an outbound map. Just a suggestion!

or Foresight. But it also sounds like you may want to check out AIAG.ORG for their EDI101 course, just so you
understand the interchange structure.
