Hi,

I'm working with a client who has B-Trade's AS2 solution for Wal-Mart. We're running a http server on port 81 (we're using port 80 for Meijer AS2 I believe). I've opened port 81, and all ports greater than 1023 for Wal-Mart on the firewall. When Wal-Mart sends their connectivity test, they don't get a response, and I don't see either accept or deny entries in my firewall logs. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Julian Rodriguez

I think you should check out the 'AS2 - BUY NOW or LATER' thread. There are some very good hints listed by that
group. Browsing can't hurt.

Good Luck!

Forgive my ignorance, but how does that thread help me?

Thanks,
Julian

According to the other discussions on Wal-Mart AS2, Wal-mart is using either port 5080 or 6080, in conjunctions
with 4 specific IP addresses. After browsing the
consensus seems to show 5080 as the listener got results.

We are using port 5080 for both directions and it work fine. Our network reles require that any outside access to our network remain in our DMZ (that is where we have placed the AS2 server.
