Boot to a prompt from a floppy. Type Format C: . Re-install your OS and you should be O.K. This works. I just had to do a little while ago. It's why I'm in therapy.- guthead

win2k and win98 print/file sharing
I've just done this same setup. have you got "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Print Sharing for Microsft Networks" installed on BOTH computers, Same users on Both computers.If so, maube Netbuie is not cutting it. I had problems and went to TCP/IP. I even...- guthead

Windows 98 SE upgrade to Win2k Pro (NTLDR error on 20GB Fat32 Drive)
Maybe this doesn't suit your future plans, but you might try partitioning the drive and leave W98 alone with your data and put W2k on D: . Then dual boot (it's built into W2K.
