I'm trying to share a printer connected to a win2k machine with a win98 SE machine. I've assigned workgroup, added client for microsoft networks, added netbeui, to both machines and added users to the win2k machine, still when I try to access the win2k share from the win98 machine I get a login window and I can't access the share. This happens with print and file shares. All of this is happening on a Netware 5 network with v3.3 Netware clients. It seems simple so I'm probably missing the obvious. I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Make sure the 98 machine is logged on with the correct username/password that you set up on the 2k machine.

I've just done this same setup. have you got "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "File and Print Sharing for Microsft Networks" installed on BOTH computers, Same users
on Both computers. If so, maube Netbuie is not cutting it. I
had problems and went to TCP/IP. I even installed ICS and my wife can log on to the net through my computer..very cool. Hope this helps.
