Hi all The mail relay [DS] in sendmail.cf had to be changed to reflect the new mail relay IP after which sendmail accepts and delivers mail to outside world , but mail/mailx does not deliver mail to accounts local to the server. What is the issue? TIA

Hi May be you should boot of the Solaris CD into a single user mode, repair the root file system and then try to boot from the disk.
