Just wanted to see if anyone out there had any experience with the Clariion systems more specifically as they are OEMed as Dell PowerVaults? I have been using them for about 4 months and they have been a lot more reliable than the normal SCSI based external storage. The software that comes...
Do you currently have your Web Browsers configured to use a Proxy Server? Also it will depend on where these users are located (remote access, local network?) because you can setup the proxy to bypass local addresses if they are on the network and then use the proxy if they are remote or...
Off the top of my head I can't think of an easy way around it but I think it would be painfully slow to run it on a 133 with only 16 Megs of RAM. It was bareable with a 166 with 128 Megs....PK
Another good tool is Powerquest's Drive Image Pro which is similar to Ghost. I have had very good luck with it and it is easy to use. <br>

Another thing you could have done is put the new drive in your machine as the Primary Disk. Run NT install and install the OS in a different named...
Do you have a firewall or some form of Proxy Server setup through which you are accessing these pages with? Sometimes they can cause a problem like this.
We have been running Terminal Server now without WinCenter for our unix connectivity and it works great. We used to use WinCenter for it and decided it wasn't worth paying the extra money so we just use WTS and Metaframe with the free ICA unix clients.
That one is a tough one. I wouldn't personally suggest deleting the hives. I think it would be smarter to delete all the fonts under Control Panel ¦ Fonts, Reboot your machine and then readd them in again from an NT CD. (you probably really don't need to reboot but it is advisable to be safe)...
Another way around this is the activate the application on a Web Server. Then the client would use a Browser and the application would run within it. However, it will copy over a ActiveX control for IE and you will need a plug in for Netscape or you can use the Java client provided by Citrix...
Just wanted to see if anyone else out there was running Winframe, WinCenter, Terminal Server and the Unix ICA clients? We have been running WinCenter and will be upgrading to Terminal Server and I am trying to decide if the X.11 support is still necessary or if we can just run the Citrix ICA...
Yes it definitely looks like you might need to reinstall IIS into the same directory. You might have to reinstall Cold Fusion too depending on the links it provides to IIS.
Deleting the default website can sometimes cause some hairy problems. It may depend on where it installed the files necessary for IIS Web Based Tools. You might try reinstalling the webserver software again to the same location to see if this can fix it for you. Do you run Frontpage on that...
Ok it should have me back as PK again but it was strange that it had switched me to Warcorp. You might want to look into this a little because it could be scary if people could pose as others without any effort.
Is directory browsing turned on on the ftp server? Depending on how you have it setup you might have the ip address of the default configured wrong (it may have to be the ftp servers address instead of the virtual). IS there any other information you can give me?
Go ahead and copy the information in and we will give it a shot. Another good thing you could try is searching on the error on the microsoft website (www.microsoft.com/support) or if you have access to Technet (although it can get pricey).
