I had the same problem. I ended up putting a second phone at my receptionist's desk so that she could have a phone to monitor and a phone to use.
Not the cheapest solution, but we were not ready to train and support the Console Attendant.

check if CDR logging is enabled, if you don't need it you can stop the service and kill the associated SQL database. Also check your backup utility and see if you can move the backups off the box.
good luck!
How did you resolve this issue? I am getting this error message when i try to install sp4, but the exchange server IS the PDC (SmallBusinessServer) so I am lost as to how I can fix this....
It will call the cellular phone with "Welcome to Audix, Please enter your extension #".....
We have a site using this and it at least saves them from calling back into the switch, since they are already at a login prompt.
If you find out about text messaging, I would love to hear...
I am not totally sure on what you are trying to do, but we have a Cisco CM connected to a Definity G3R and have used the data network to send Definity calls to other Avaya switches.
Basically we had a Cisco Voice T1 gateway connected to both of our local TDM switches and set up route patterns...
Becareful, I have seen this too.
But I also am having a problem now where if I reboot the server, I send out a ton of duplicate emails!
If you have ideas, I'd sure love some.
Our Definity G3R v10 only accepts 3 connections concurrently and we get the same errors as you when it gets exceeded.
I do not know if you can configure multiple CLan cards as SAT Terminals (via cha ip-services) though....
I love the Avaya / Cisco debate. It is true that Cisco's product has much to catch up with the legacy TDM services and functionality.
Support of systems has to go to Cisco. Avaya has laid off too many people for field support. Avaya will not give its customers enough documentation to...
We have a CallManager running 4 remote offices and it works extremely well for us.
Each remote office has a local 2600 operating as a analog gateway, configured for SRST. Having a centralized CM makes the administration so much easier than having distributed call managers.
