Number of ASA connections to a CLAN card.

How many ASA users can be connected to the CLAN card at the same time? I sometimes get an error message when more than one person tries to log in to the PBX.

we've had three different users to the switch at one time. You can also set up more than one session to the pbx from the same user. I.e. have one window running a report, one running term emulation, one running gedi, etc. Although I have personally tied up all the connections to the switch doing this. I dont remember the exact number but it seems like 6 or 8 connections at once?

But I keep getting the following error message when others are logged on to the PBX:

Commuications error: Connection Closed by peer.

Our Definity G3R v10 only accepts 3 connections concurrently and we get the same errors as you when it gets exceeded.

I do not know if you can configure multiple CLan cards as SAT Terminals (via cha ip-services) though....

i just had 4 Ip sessions going and one at the sat, for a total of 5 logins. On the 6th attempted login i got the closed by peer message.

should be 16ID's with 5 IP sessions simultanious.
