Hi All,
need some advice.
Currently have static Ip with exchange server 5.5 on a dial up ISDN.
Have just had Adsl installed and have a static IP with this.
Which to cancel the ISDN and just use adsl.
But mx records (for 3 domin names) point to isdn ip.
I could get the mx records changed to point...
Worked it out.
For anyone else
Use NCOS Network Class of Service
LD 49
Req PRT
Type FCR
Cust 0
Crno return
Return
Prints out list of allow / deny used
we use
3 no external
4 External no International
7 International
8 Everything including 192
LD 49
Req CHG
Type FCR
Cust 0
Crno 3 This...
sorry but that went over my head new to this.
Can see that NCOS would be the way to go cos we have that setup for international calls It would be ideal if 192 had the same restrictions as international calls. But i do not know how to do this.

Trying to find the best way to do this.
Trying to stop access to 192 (Directory enquires in UK)
boss and secutary need access to 192 but want everyone else to go to switch board if they dial 192 so receptionist can dial it for them.
Have barred a number in ld 90 before but I dont want it totaly...
We have a range of extension 800 -850 which can be dial directly from an external number ie 672800 gets you extension 800 and so on but numbers 850 -899 can not if you dial their number (i.e. 672888) you go to the main switch board number. We had BT in and they changed somthing on the meridian...
Thanks colin will try this in the morning.
What is the special number block?
will this block all numbers starting with 1?
I ask this because the number I want blocked is 123
and you have:-
deny 23
but spn 1 above. Is it just a typo or do you have to seperate the number?
thanks for the help
